New Features!

It would almost be easier to tell you what is not new in KATS™ Generation 4!

With the upcoming release of Windows Vista™ Eden Consulting Group has jumped ahead to ensure that we stay up with the latest technology.

Our new menu system on our new Graphical User Interface (GUI)is consistent with the new Vista™ technology which will make it easier for officers to use.  In fact, we have been able to reduce the number of mouse clicks used to do data entry from 40% to 60% in different areas of the system.  At the same time, the system functions with previous Windows® products.  We will keep you posted via this site as we continue to progress towards the release of KATS Generation 4.

Reminder Opening Screen

KATS™ has not just been repackaged with a different look.   It has been reengineered from the ground up with extensive new capabilities and a new reporting system.  Data input has been simplified and an extensive Tip system is available for every major screen in the system at the click of a button.

KATS Generation 4 now has 3 color variations that are selectable from the Configuration menu.  Normal mode is the standard color scheme the system starts with when initially installed.  For users who prefer more color on their screen, a colorful selection is available. For officers working in a patrol car at night, the system can be changed to tactical for a more subdued light display in the car, preserving night vision and preventing the interior of the car from being brightened up by the screen display.

KATS Generation 4 is the first system developed that provides the user with an optional “tactical” mode selection for use in patrol cars. Another example of innovative thinking developed by the KATS development team.  This goes with the philosophies of Eden Consulting Group as leaders in law enforcement K9 innovation and training in continuing to work on the little details that make todays K9 teams safer.  Following is an example of the same screen, in tactical mode colors.
