A license type 1 is to be installed on the individual laptop, home system or other system used by each individual officer. The license type 1 is designed to synchronize with the license type 3 agency system. You may install this system on as many systems as are required by your agency to the maximum number of systems ordered. Keep in mind that once all systems have been installed tables should be developed to your agency needs on the main office system and then exported to the mobile systems so the systems can be synchronized.

KATS Generation III may be downloaded immediately here. It will load as a demo version, however by purchasing the system via our virtual online shopping system you can be up and running as soon as your order is processed. Once your request has been received your registration codes can be E-Mailed to you directly. Your CD or diskettes with a hard copy of your registration will ship within ten working days of processing the order.

KATS Generation III now allows for up to six dog teams on the agency version. If you are ordering for more than six teams, the price per team over the initial six teams is $175.00 per team. These systems will synchronize with the Level 3 Agency version. When ordering the Agency version, please ensure you advise in the remarks section of your order how many teams total you have in your agency. To order extra licenses of the software add the number of licenses required to your order over the original six teams. You can increase the number of licenses in the second screen after adding the original to your shopping cart.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Ensure that you advise us of your agency name when ordering any KATS software! This is required in order to generate the registration code. You can provide your agency name in the special instructions category of the order form.

Level 1 Package $199.00 - This package provides for maintaining all records for training and deployments for one officer and one dog. A Level 1 package will synchronize with a Level 3 package for the purposes of uploading individual records into a full agency version.

Level 1 Upgrade Package $85.00 - Order this version of the software if you are upgrading from a previous Level 1 version of KATS or requesting a competitive upgrade from a competing product of the same level. (See competitive upgrade info for details) This package is identical as the standard Level 1 package and will synchronize with a Level 3 package for the purposes of uploading individual records into a full agency version.

Level 2 Package $250.00 - This package provides for maintaining all records for training and deployments for one officer working multiple dogs. A Level 1 package will synchronize with a Level 3 package for the purposes of uploading individual records into a full agency version.

Level 2 Upgrade Package $85.00 - Order this version of the software if you are upgrading from a previous Level 2 version of KATS or requesting a competitive upgrade from a competing product of the same level. (See competitive upgrade info for details) This package is identical as the standard Level 2 package and will synchronize with a Level 3 package for the purposes of uploading individual records into a full agency version.

Level 3 Agency Package $499.00 - This agency level package provides for maintaining all records for the training and deployments of your entire agency. The initial package provides for up to six dog teams. Extra licenses can be purchased to cover any number of teams. Level 1 system licensing is included in this package for officers individual laptops. This package will import records from the Level 1 and Level 2 systems.

Level 3 Agency Upgrade Package $175.00 - Order this version of the software if you are upgrading from a previous Level 3 version of KATS or requesting a competitive upgrade from a competing product of the same level. (See competitive upgrade info for details)  This package is identical to the standard Level 3 package and maintains all records for the training and deployments of your entire agency. The initial package provides for up to six dog teams. Extra licenses can be purchased to cover any number of teams. Level 1 system licensing is included in this package for officers individual laptops. This package will import records from the Level 1 and Level 2 systems.

Additional Level 1 Licence $175.00 - Order this version of the software if you are in need of more than six teams on your Agency software package. For example, if you have 10 dog teams, then you would purchase the Level 3 system and 4 Additional licenses as the Level 3 covers up to six dog teams. These licenses synchronize with the Agency Level 3 system.

KATS Report Pak Access

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Ensure that you advise us of your KATS Registration Number and Validation code when ordering Report Pak Access. These will be used as your username and password to enable you to download the various report paks and updated repor systems. You can provide this information in the special instructions category of the order form when you check out

KATS Report Pak Single User Access (Level 1 or Level 2 User) One Year - $45.00  When you purchase access to the Custom Report Paks, you may download as many versions and copies of the Report Pak software for a period of one year after the date of purchase. Any new reports, or report styles will be available and will be added to the download site as they become available. Report Paks are $45.00 per single user for the year.

KATS Report Pak Agency Level Access (Level 3 System User) One Year - $145.00  If you are licensing for a multi-user agency you must register using your Level 3 validation codes. Report Pak access is $145.00 annually for the agency, for any number of users.

Book Store

K9Officer's Manual is a K9 Officer's bible. It deals with administration concerns, choosing training schools and liability aspects of bite and hold versus bark and hold training methods. The second section of the book is written for all the patrol officers who are required to backup and assist K9 Officer's in the course of their duties. Containment procedures, backup training, positioning, what to do and what not to do is all included in this text. The next section is the K9 Officer's Manual. It is written specifically for the K9 officer. Training and tactics for survival are the main ingredients of this portion of the book. It is full of photos that demonstrate proper deployments, felony car stop situations, covers hazards for the dog team both on the job and at home. The last section is dedicated to short stories of 3 K9 Officers and 17 police dogs killed in the line of duty as a direct result of felonious assaults. Decoys and Aggression is a police K9 manual authored by Dr. Stephen Mackenzie PhD, a very well known expert in the field of canine behavior. In his book, Dr. Mackenzie builds all the fundamentals you need to know as a professional dog trainer in manipulating canine behavior. This book is valuable to virtually anyone involved in law enforcement or sport dog applications. In it, the author describes how a good decoy needs to be an expert in canine communication, and needs to know how to use this language to stimulate aggression in the dog. This book explains, step by step, how to understand canine paralanguage and how to use your own body to communicate with the dog. It then explains the different types of natural dog aggression and how to use its own language to trigger the useful types without being abusive to the dog.
