Eden Consulting Group has teamed up with ADORE software to bring you a more versatile and complete law enforcement package. Technical Support for the KATS software package is now provided by MdE, Inc.

KATS Client Maintenance

Free updates and upgrades are now available should you choose to purchase an annual KATS maintenance contract. In 2003/2004 there were four updates provided as we continued to develop the system. We continue to improve and enhance KATS and are presently working towards our next major programming project looking to the future with KATS Generation IV.

KATS Software Maintenance Contracts Available

When you invest in the K9 Activity Tracking System software solution, you want to ensure the continued success of your strategic K9 record keeping initiatives - for the protection of your officers and your agency.

Throughout your deployment, KATS Software's Annual Maintenance Contracts help you ensure that your system and users are at top speed when protecting themselves from civil liability. With maintenance, you'll receive a priority response to your inquiries.

With free upgrades to the next version of KATS, you'll stay current with the latest updates and best technology. On top of that, Annual Maintenance customers gain insight into more productive and useful ways to use KATS through our KATS Support Email Distribution System.

All software purchased comes with 30 days of free licensing and installation support from the licensing date. After 30 days, a KATS software maintenance contract is required for all licensing and installation issues.

Software maintenance contracts are valid for one year with a valid/un-expired software license.

Software maintenance includes a limited one-time transfer of the license and installation and activation support. Software maintenance will provide licensing support if you experience hardware failure or operating system upgrade.

Software maintenance contract provides continued unlimited updates to the KATS software for the duration of the contract. The annual maintenance also include free revisions, modifications, error corrections, new releases, and enhancements with accompanying instructions for implementation.

KATS Maintenance does NOT include licensing. Licensing terms will have to be purchased separately.

KATS Maintenance Fees

1-year maintenance plans include free software upgrades:

Level 1 Maintenance Plan $196.00

Level 2 Maintenance Plan $225.00

Level 3 Maintenance Plan Only $300.00

For those clients who do not have a maintenance contract technical support can be provided for $75.00 per issue.

Technical Support

To obtain KATS Technical Support, a user account and software license is required.

Purchased at the same time as your software licenses, Annual Maintenance provides you with:

  • Free major upgrades to the next version of KATS to stay current with the most current technology.
  • Unlimited telephone support.
  • E-mail support.
  • Direct notification of free software updates including hot fixes, service releases, and documentation updates.
  • Instant Web access to software updates, hot fixes, service releases and documentation updates.
  • Priority response to error reports.
  • Priority consideration for product suggestions to assist us in continuing the development of the next generation of KATS with the features that are most useful to your officers in the field.

To receive benefits of Annual Maintenance, including free upgrades, your contract must be current.

Technical support for Annual Maintenance customers does not include onsite implementation/installation, database administration, system/network/network security configuration, software customization, or training (other than how-to questions). Technical support policies are subject to change.
